STUDENT CAREERS
Moving on from High School to further education or the wider world, can be a daunting task.
- How do we know what we want to do, or where we want to go?
- Coming from such a globally diverse school community, our students are aware of the wide ranging opportunities that they can access. But how do we start to determine what will be the next right step for them individually?
At ICS, we aim to provide all our high school students with the information, support and guidance that they need, to make the next step decisions that are right for them.
Our Careers program here at ICS is focused on assisting our students to reach their goals. A main focus is the student/parent accessibility to our program and the information they seek. Accordingly, we organize mini fairs for international and local universities where students seek advice and information on their interests as well as provide direct support services that include referrals, counseling, assessments, diagnostics, expectation marks and report writing.
Through our High School Career Center, we provide detailed assessments of the students where we obtain information on their interests and skills through counseling and surveys. Accordingly, we adopt an effective course of action specific for every student and guide them in the right direction for their future. Furthermore, based on their assessment and grading, we nominate students to universities, local and international, to be granted scholarships for their education.
